谢谢各位！我还在纠结那个“衷情”，可以讨论一下吗？

intimate revelation, 我查了几本字典以后大致知道说的是什么，可是用地道的汉语说不出来，参照巫宁坤的版本（谢谢京北点破，我昨天没看出处，不知道那是巫的译本），可我总隐隐觉得这个“衷情”，稍微有点儿不准确，也不够“汉语”。我想到过“隐情”、“私情”，终究还是没有把握。

另一处是veteran bores，到底说的是什么？

我的英文基础太差了，这本书现在离我实在太远。如果到时候还喜欢，争取五年以后再来好好读，把它读懂。
