Ryan Reynolds, Emily Mortimer, Chaos Theory
@54:01: https://youtu.be/MhgspCcFbeU?t=3290 [time, efficiency]--No. No. No passion; your life is dead. Say yes to chaos. Say yes to chance. Believe in miracles!
whimpering, crying like little girl, softly
[3 lovers in Susan's life:
Alan Zelf, Frank (husband, not his daughter—Jesse is not his biological father), and Buddy (Bob, the biological father).
though that might have been a bit too comedy of errors for what they wanted of course
also a bit difficult to see how you'd come up with a plausible reason for them to check him for that which could be naturally written in without seeming a bit forced, even if a paternity test for his friend turned out negative the natural goto would be there was another she wasn't admitting to, no one would reasonably go to that outside possibility and check for that.

True Love is "Just Love plus No condition." It is an awesome movie.

Celebrated author and efficiency expert Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds) has always lived in step with a well-planned series of lists and timetables. His wife (Emily Mortimer) decides to play a joke on him and sets his clock back 10 minutes, but the consequences are far greater than expected. As Frank's well-ordered existence unravels, he opens up to the randomness of life.

Lol, he should have just been honest with her when she called. It would have all been fine, and they would have talked. The result: They would have both realized how effected he was by your schedule. It wouldn't be fun, and he would engage in more spontaneous interactions with his fun-loving wife.
Target your heart. It hurts. I know how that feels... trying to keep a family together and trying to be a good man.

16:40 Sometimes when my life gets too hectic and i have less than 8 hours of sleep per night, i resort to list-making. It lightens my brain load because it no longer has to remember a chronological list of tasks that i have to accomplish during the day or for the week. Really useful when stressed and forgetful.
Much love and peace

Where we expect chaos, there is order; where we create order, there is chaos.

Notice the girl took the Rolex watch after lying about her birthday. Her mother lied about sleeping with someone else for two weeks, not one. She's sort of like her mother.
Can't say the bridegroom wasn't warned.
In the final scene, the wife looks at her daughter's biological father. Probably more indications throughout the movie that the father is a simp.
It seems like this thread is a collection of thoughts and reflections on *Chaos Theory*, the film featuring Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer. From the comments, there's a lot of commentary on relationships, the idea of chaos versus order, and the impact of mistakes or misunderstandings on personal lives. The term "simp" is used here by some to describe characters who, in their view, are overly passive or forgiving to the point of being taken advantage of or hurt.
It’s interesting how people see characters' actions differently. Some see Frank as a "simp" because of how much he tolerates or tries to make things right, even when he’s hurt. Meanwhile, others are reflecting on the complexities of love and relationships, where the line between loyalty, forgiveness, and self-respect gets blurred.
It’s a pretty deep dive into how chaotic life can get when things are tightly controlled and the consequences of those moments of spontaneity and miscommunication. What did you think of the movie and the character dynamics?
