Had a short trip to beautiful, sunny San Diego. We visited SD many years ago, being to the Seaworld and the Zoo. This time, it was for a national convention. We took time also for some sightseeing. This is the look of USS Midway, a retired aircraft carrier.
Looking from the outside of the Convention Center. It was a fall day. Sunny. Very comfortable temperature. Gentle breeze. I also liked the dramatic clouds.
The lazy afternoon sun. Seagulls flew around. 一片祥和！

Convention center. Busy learning. Really felt that the sciences are advancing fast. New knowledge and new products keep us busy. Hard to keep up!

Looking back from the Seaport Village. SV is a very nice place. Many bars and restaurants. Biking lanes. People have good time. Great view of the waterfront!

USS Midway. USS Midway was the United States' longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, from 1945 to 1992. Approximately 200,000 sailors served aboard the carrier, known for several naval aviation breakthroughs as well as several humanitarian missions.

Descended down to the lower deck of the aircraft. Amazingly spacious. It has all the functions of a city. Looking at the engine control room.
Good back to the summer like SD, in this late fall day.
Flowers are withering. It may be not the best time for a close look portrait. Nonetheless, the colors are still powerfully breathtaking.
