We rented an underwater camera during a Maui tour

from the tour operator and it made all the difference. The pictures came out a lot nicer than the disposable underwater cameras. I have been eyeing some low level amateur model P&S underwater cameras but always wonder how their quality would come out. With the few snorkel/scuba trips we do, it really doesn't justify the cost of buying a heavy duty set.
