Petrified Woods is relatively common. But the national park in AZ has by far the largest concentration. The Petrified Woods State Park in Washongton has a decent collection. Yellowstone also has a few trunks near the Lamar Valley/Tower Junction. It's said the ones in Yellowstone are the only petrified trees still in upright position in US.

ErDong, did you go to the Meteor Crater east of Flagstaff?

By the way, many of us on this board have visited the SiChuan restaurant in Moab or Flagstaff. The owner in Moab used to be the owner in Flagstaff. Small world.
