感老兵节 七言绝句一首

关闭家居罢远征，
江山万里卷旗旌。
人间岁岁休争战，
淡出新兵与老兵。

注：昨天（11/11/2020）美国老兵节 (Veteran Day) ，全国假期，纪念曾在战争中服务过的老兵。市公园里插满了旗子。

麦克阿瑟将军的名言：老兵永远不会死—他们只会淡出。
