I am helping my friend to make decision on D80 or Canon XTi.

I suggested him buy D80 base on you guys suggestions from this web (I know nothing, just an impression after reading). He is struggling and just called me today. He might go with Canon b/c D80 is too expensive (he likes Nikon much better before after hearing feedback from another Nikon friend). He told me the reason is that Canon’s functionality/price is much higher. I am so surprised with his quick switching. I still convince him to buy D80. The only thing I can say is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY! Hopefully I gave him the right suggestion. All learnt from you guys.
