差之毫厘失之千里：所问非所答

朋友来电，放下电话后，告诉黑漆板凳我与朋友讨论她出去吃饭后的毛病是食物中毒还是胃肠道病毒感染。

黑：What did she have？
我：Usual things，I guess.
黑：Like what?
我：You know.
黑：What?
我：Well, if I have to be indelicate, for one, diarrhea.
黑：I was asking what DISH did she have.
我：。。。。。。
黑：It’d be really interesting if she had a dish of 。。。
我：Oh, shut-up！

整整一晚上，黑漆板凳都在不怀好意的看着我笑。
