请教：这句话什么意思？

我在办公室的电脑账号出了问题，因为要老板的批准IT才能给我重设密码，所以我就向老板汇报了。然后他就打电话给了IT部门。过了会儿，IT打电话给我，说只有我的老板才能授权重设密码，因为我的账号被人终止了。我告诉她，就是我们老板打的电话给他们。然后她就问了一句“Did he call in on you?", 我犹豫了一下，回答说是的。

现在回想一下，我有点糊涂了：她的意思是“Did he call in to terminate your account?" 还是“Did he call in to report the problem on your behalf?"

call in on you 是不是有点像tell on you, 有点negative的意思? 第一次听说这个phrase,糊涂了。
