不是大虾，这个台词有个隐谕，不好理解，俺来猜一个

"desperate housewife"
没怎么看过，剧情也不熟 查了一下台词

after Carlos told him that she was from his side of the family, not Gaby's.
John对 Ana 说了这样一句话
"Wow, must have been a windy day when the apple fell from that tree."

英语中有这样一个谚语：The apple does NOT fall far from the tree
意思是：like father，like son，
Offspring grow up to be like their parents.


'Wow, must have been a windy day when the apple fell from that tree.‘
这里说话人在暗讽，XX和他/她的父母家人很不象，apple
掉的离树很远，那就是那天的风很大喽，可能把apple吹的远了~所以XX才不象是从这个家出来的
