Hindsight is the past; Insight is the present; Foresight is the future.

Most, if not all, are good at knowing what happened in the past, as "hindsight is always 20/20" , the real challenge is to transfer that into seeing well in current affairs and judging what is to come.  

But, be careful not to put too much emphasis on hindsight. For example in the stock market, those financial "experts" always use "past performance is no guarantee of future results' as their disclaimer, when promoting their products.  

So, "hindsight is the best insight to foresight", with your best judgments.
