APAD: No half measures
"No half measures" means no reduction or limitation to the effort or resources employed or that could be employed.
In constrast, a "half measure" is a compromise, an insufficient plan, or a halfhearted effort that leads to a poor or ineffective outcome. Therefore, saying "no half measures" is a declaration to be thorough, avoid mediocrity, make no compromises, and see something through to its fullest extent.

It was the past Sunday and my first time of in-person watercolour painting class.
I was late as usual and was the last one enterred the classroom full of people.
Teacher Jeff (pic #1) was a kind and funny tall man who made the class laugh every 2 minutes, and he made quite few remarks about my work, as I 'm a true beginner, and came without much gear like most others did. I never felt any discomfort, but kindness and warm encouragement.
We did two paintings, a long and detailed one from morning till early afternoon; a short and fun one afterwards. I was too rigid in the morning and didn't finish the first one (pic #2), but much relaxed afterwards and did the 2nd (free coice) one fast (pic #3).
I never like "half measures", at work or home, and I will finish the first painting soon, leave no half measures.
Cheers!
