Take it easy.
This site is full of cheers for mediocrity. I really don't see anyone mi*****ehaving so far, as long as the comments are on the writing, rather than on writers. What are really drawing me here are those insightful thoughts and truthful reviews, no matter how acrimonious those comments might be, not mindless compliments.
My point is that encouraging people to speak up is much healthier than trying to shut them up. You don’t want to end up with a stifling dead or fake cheerful site. There are really under ten people commenting constantly and don’t tell me we can’t handle criticism. With all due respect, when you have that kind of power to delete someone else’s comments, a power equivalent of a real world execution, I think it wise to use it with great lenience.
Of course, it is your judgement call. :)
