65. Walk and Talk

After dinner, Ms Diver and I usually go for a short stroll around where we live and talk about various things along the way. This is a peaceful time and I enjoy both the light exercise and the conversation. Other than that, I had not thought much about it, until I learned about the technique named "walk and talk" one day. As it turned out, two or more characters talking while walking (or driving, or moving) is a long-recognized technique used in literature, movies, and TV, and it can serve a multitude of purposes, including emphasizing the fast pace of the story's development, introducing the major areas in the story, keeping the conversation lively and interesting, etc. Well, knowing all these makes our stroll and talk even more enjoyable.
