haha, very vivid! funny ending as always

This one reminds me of your other story about the coupon. They are kind of in the same spirit, I am guessing. The main character seems to be really smart at saving money and being a cheapskate, but eventually gives away his weakness and shows his plan wasn't so thought through as he believed.

Am I getting your point right?
