Ready or not, here I come. You really don't have to worry about your readiness for the race if running time is not your primary concern. Just go there and enjoy. The worst scenario would be that you run and walk. I knew that some people walk through a whole course.

I know there is another kind of energy foods that are rich in caffeine which I have never used. That kind of foods do not provide the fuels that you need but stimulate your nerve system.
Doping is a totally different story, I think.
