Please find following justification for our request of an increase of quota limit on the Category Links:
“As our business grow, more products are being added and more categories need to be created for these products. As an attempt to generate more sales, we would like to utilize the Category Links to market and promote other similar or related product groups on a category-landing page. We fully understand the risks involved, and would like request for an increase of quota limit on the Category Links.”
Our plan for the use of this is as follows:
Currently, we have nearly 50,000 products in our master catalog, with 17 sub-categories under the XXX catalog. One subcategory, XXX, has reached its current quota limit of 50 on the category links. A few other sub-categories are also rapidly approaching their set limits.
XXX is the category link’s rendering template which loops through a collection of CategoryLinks objects in order to display the target category’s image of each category link. As an image is clicked, it will open the corresponding landing-page for the target category of products.

Therefore, based on our business needs and potential growth in the next 5 years, we request for an increase of quota limit to 500 on the Category Links.
