Many years ago when I was buying my first house, a friend told me I should buy the most expensive house you can afford. I remembered her unnormal words. But I was young then and couldn't understand it very well. There were not many Chinese buying houses then. I couldn't get more suggestion. Years later I regret I didn't follow her suggestion. But this might apply to the market in that time. I'm not sure it applies to the current market with some bubble.
