wrong! not all the depts in 北大清华 are popular among local 北京人.

Like history department,geology depatment, etc, a lot programs at Beijing University univeristy and Tsinghua University are already not attractive to local Beijingness - especially since early 1990's, money/future career is more and more key point for college choosed by local Beijing middle-school students.
