房崇大师请问,substantial settling of the foundation是严重问题吗?

The house was built in 1954. Inspection report says: 'substantial settling of the foundation has occured. It had led to sloping of the flooring.'

The foundation is on slab. Is this a serious issue? Is it very expensive to correct such an issue? Thanks!
