请教专家们，应该鼓励大学毕业几年的孩子买房吗？

大学毕业3年了，在旧金山市中心做软件工程师，没有搬离的计划，已经存够买普通一室公寓20%的首付，包括公司的股票。

孩子犹豫买不买是担心买在高点，也担心负债太多太久，不如租公寓轻松。很多年轻同事已经开始买了，但是不少有家里支持，多付首付少贷款。我家得靠自己。

买Studio相对经济上比较轻松一些，但是周围有建议买2室的找室友分担房贷。他个人比较喜欢1室的，不用找人拼住。

想看看这里专家们的建议，近期买不买，如果买应该买哪种。
