With GC, you don't need Visa to go either Canada or Mexico. Last time we went to Mexico, only show them the CA driver license at border check point and they let us in. So don't worry, just bring your Chinese passport and your GC then go. Why person has GC wants to stay in Mexico? Just don't bring local people there back to State although lots of them want to come, that calls illegal immigration. Just kidding.
