Tax question

If I and my wife use married filing jointly status for 04 tax return, does that mean that we just send one 1040 form using 1 envelope to IRS?

In 1040 form, we just add up my and my wife's income together (Line 7), and add up mine and my wife's Federal income tax withheld from W-2 together (Line 63). Is this correct?

Any comments, advices are greatly appreciated!!!!
