你错我有根据，你的根据在哪里？

你出庭不能胡辩，要说根据某某条例，你所做的是正确的。你不知道警察指控你什么，如何上庭辩论？

What you did was "passing to the right", in some case it is "illegal passing". Was the ticket "illegal passing" or "careless driving"? What is the code?

In your case, the car in front of you was not "about to make a left turn" because as police said, there is no driveway on the left.  Police was right, you LOSE!!   If you want to win, find something that support your argument, you cannot just keep saying the other side is wrong because you think they are wrong.
