请教：交通事故时自己录的对话能作证据吗？

事故发生在湾区，Sunnyvale。

晚上下班时候，车挺多的。我绿灯从东向北左转，被由北向南的印度女人撞了。我很确定自己是绿灯。

当时有别的车经过，但没有人停下来作证。警察说那个十字路口没有摄像头。我也没有装行车记录仪。现在印度女人坚持说她是绿灯，所以对方保险公司拒绝赔偿。

发生车祸后，我和肇事者有短暂交谈。对方连声sorry，说不知道发生了什么，什么也不记得。这段话我录了下来。请问这种情况下，这段录音能作为证据吗？

另外我可以在那个路口竖广告寻当天的目击证人吗？已经过了三天。
