you can sell some stocks and take profit whenever the market is high. 

nobody knows what will happen tomorrow,  nobody can guarantee you will buy at the bottom and sell at the top.

it all depends on your goal, some people feel I am happy with 30% profit, some people want to wait.

so it depends on your goal and your risk tolerance.
