事情大概是这样的：父母绿卡申请获得批准，来美国住了几个月。等绿卡寄到家。随后因看病需要，回中国。此时绿卡尚未寄到。但办了回美证（两年有效）。

他们在中国，我在美国，继续等他们的绿卡寄到。等很久最终确认绿卡寄丢。申请补办。补办一定要重新在美国打指纹。

问题是：没有有效绿卡无法回美国打指纹，没有指纹无法补办有效绿卡。。。catch 22.

 

请问

1） 没有绿卡只有护照和回美证，能否入境美国？

-I think so.

如果不能，需要什么手续？

-No. Just tell the IO at the port of entry, the green card was lost if asked, and say they will file I-90 to get the repalcement after entering US.

如何破解？

 

2） 能否在中国办指纹？需要什么手续？

-I-90 has to be filed within US.
