临卡还有两月到期。

刚刚收到court order的改名申请通过，去ssa office，工作人员说要先改immigration证件。

如果临卡转正和改名能同时进行，需要填写什么表格？
-You and you spouse File I-751 together. You  have to write a cover letter with I-751 filing and put your new name (e.g. married name) on the Form I-751, and explain to them that you would like your 10 year green card to have your new name (married name) on it.  You can always double check this by calling USCIS. Another thing is, when you file for citizenship application in the furtue, they will do a background check, and if you change your name now, it may take longer for the background check to go through, and this may delay your citizenship application.
