8老师好，我是H1B visa，孩子们4岁半，因为年龄小，他们的H4是我老公给申请的（ I-797上的申请人是孩子爸爸，孩子是受益人）, 如今我老公转换成TN，请问孩子们的身份需要转吗？
-Yes, your child need renew their H-4 based on your H-1 status or change H-4 to TD. They can go to the US-Canadian border to get the H4 I-94 or TD I-94 if they are Canadian citizen. Otherwise , they need to go to their home country to get the H-4 visa or TD visa to come back because their H-4 has been invalid due to their father status change to TN.

8老师好，谢谢你的回复，我想可能我上次没有说清楚情况，想再次和你确认一下。
当时我拿到H1B的同时，LG和孩子们一起申请的H4,是基于我的H1B 和employment (孩子们的797表上面写的基于another alien's employment), 只是当时是LG代替孩子们申请的。
现在他的情况变成了TN，而我依然是同样的H1B, 那孩子们的H4是不是依然跟随我有效啊？
