我现在需要转学，已经找到了接受学校并且刚刚拿到了acceptance letter，可是之前的学校不肯release SEVIS，说是超过了60天的grace period （我上个Quart是6月底结束，新学校的Quarter是10月初开始。请问各位老师有没有这个60天的grace period的说法？

这种情况下我该怎么办呢？

-You may ask your new school International Student Office to see whether they can help you to reinstate your F-1 status though the chance is small. If you can not reinstate your F-1, you have to go to China to get the F-1 visa.
