I'm under H1B, and my company is processing to sponsor my green card petition. The company wants me to attend a conference in Canada. My last entry visa with H1B to the US was about 2 years ago. I have a few questions:

1. Do I have to apply for a visitor visa to Canada?

-Yes, you need a Canadian Visa to enter Canada.

2. Do I have to apply for a new entry visa to the US when I come back?

-No. You can use the H1 I-94 and the H1 approval notice to reenter US using the visa automatic revalidation benefit if you will return to US within 30 days. Bring your latest 3 months paycheck stubs with you.

If so, will I have some troubles to come back caused by my green card petition?

-No.

If it'd be an obvious risk to travel oversea, I'd definetly be not going.

Thanks for your time for looking and answering the questions
