Please help us. background: I holds a H1b from company A on the 6th year, has I140 approved before, H1b extension fofr 3yrs succeed, has EAD from my spouse part. Currently, I got a new offer from company B, and they want me start as soon as possible. I want to start 2 weeks later to notify A. So, I have question on H1b transfer:
1. company B will do H1b transfer, but how long it will take? is 2 weeks enough?
2. If company B doesn't submitted H1b transfer within 2 weeks, in this case, if I use my EAD for the gap, after we got the H1b transfer receipt, what is my status? AOS or H1b? Is the transfer still valid? Or the company has to apply for a new H1b for me? I still want to keep my H1b status eventually, so, what is the best option I have?
