请教H4的孩子使用EAD的问题

我是H1，现在是485Pending,NIW,不知道什么时候能拿到绿卡，孩子上高中，H4,现在他学习的Program 要求150小时有工资的工作，我想让他使用EAD.是不是使用EAD后他就是AOS，如果万一我的485被拒，他就会立刻失去身份呢？谢谢！
