Could you help me about I-485?

My parents have been here for more than 3 years and now they want to back to china. My hu*****and's I-140 has been approved but our I-485s still pending. One of my friends told us my parents' leaving could cause the denial of my I-485, because USCIS can notice that the persons I invited has been stayed here illegally when my parents leave US. Is that true? Does anyone have similar experience? Thanks for your help.
