紧急请问各位大侠关于I-485file后的EAD和H4的问题

我现在是H4签证，和我LG一起刚刚同时file I-140 和 I-485。现在想办EAD，可我LG公司的律师说在我拿到EAD后，如果I-140被据，我就lost status, 也不能再转回H4， 就是说我就黑了，只能回国。后来发信问FAN_LAW，他又说没问题， 可以转回H4。我现在很confused. 有谁知道这种情况的，Please help! 拜谢！！
By the way, 我是F2-F1-OPT-H4。
