485 interview again

Hi, BaiTu,

LA local office sent me and my wife a letter for interview.
Question:
(1)I will interview at 10:30AM, my wife is at 11:00AM. Why the interview is seperated for me and my wife?

(2)On the letter it says that"...bring all items that are checked (X) to the interview...", but there is no any check list enclosed in the letter. Is it normal? What should I prepare then for the interview?
