Costco (COST) and Movado (MOV) today both announced special cash dividends following Las Vegas Sands' (LVS) big announcement on Monday evening.  For those interested, below is a list of the Russell 3,000 stocks with special cash dividend ex dates before the end of the year.  The biggest names on the list include AOL, Dillards (DDS), Franklin Resources (BEN), Las Vegas Sands (LVS), and Costco (COST).  Remember, to capture the dividend, you've got to own the shares at the close on the day prior to the ex-dividend date.
