standards have a big problem -
i bought a charger on ebay. its spec says output 100a at 12v, but the cables were only 8 awg and welded on. if you are in the us, you would know according to NEC (north america electric codes), awg 8 is only passing 55a safely. when i hooked it up to the battery and started charging, in a few minutes it smoked and quickly started an open fire from inside the box. luckily i was nearby so i pulled it off right away.
my rule - if i need to buy a chinese electronic/electrical device, very rare case though, i'd only consider those with UL or CE certification on it.
