There is a saying: you can take a man out of China

but you can't take China out of Chinaman. I think there is something with Chinese culture too, not just the government.

That cultural root makes it harder for most Chinese to assimilate into their new found home country and could be the reason for the anti-Chinese sentiment around the world.
