Put movies in DVDs

General speaking, DVD life spans range from 30 to 100 years for DVD-R and DVD+R discs, and up to 30 years for DVD-RW, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM.

On another hand, hard drive is prone to failure.  When your OS is crashed, you might have problem to recover the data, provided you know how to.  Keep the hard drive clean for other purpose.
