Got messages asking how to get into SAP...

I may not be clear on my post - I need very senior level SAP Consultants in both functional and technical, and a Java developer for now, sorry I don't have openings for entry level ones... I got a few messages asking how to get into SAP... Well I can't answer one by one so here is a general answer to this kinda questions -

Getting into SAP is always the hardest step for anyone. In old days, you could attend SAP training classes then enter a small company or project to start, but now it's pretty much saturated in many common modules, most companies only hire senior level employees or consultants. Some new or technical challenging areas in SAP are in extreme high demand now, like SAP CRM 7.0 Web UI, etc. If you really want to enter SAP industry, you might want to read SAP books and try to get on no-matter-how-much-pay project to jump start.

I am self a consultant and I also recruit consultants for clients. I only need ones with minimum 5 years experience.
