Most of HDTV come with an ATSC tuner. Only you need is an antenna. Then just like old TV, watch program broadcast in the air. I have NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, WB, some 30+ channels, although many are religious or spanish channels.

ATSC programs have better HD video quality than your cable.
