proprietary platform development and alliances over acquisitions, I blieve, it aligns with its co-founder Peter Thiel's philosophy. Thiel is known in the VC industry for trusting visions, strategies and operations of the original founders and executives, he rarely pushes for leadership changes, unlike many other VCs.
