I am so sorry. I don't know how to deal with your case. It seems that you like to have your options vested later, doesn't it? I am not a lawyer, but I doubt that they can lay you off because of your physical condition. I guess that you may get long-term or short term disability benefits if your doctor says that you cannot work anymore. However, I have no ideas about the benefits such as stock options, 401K, health insurance, and etc.
