Mad Men里我看到的世界是,越快乐越堕落,越繁华越苍凉,每个人心里的洞,都不是可以自己控制,想就能填满的。就像第一部里的Don,过得(貌似)果断笃定沉稳,很好,但是(也貌似)犹豫困惑迟疑,不快乐。大概这是60年代的Zeitgeist,Sexual liberation and feminism arrived,but people confused. 我看到一段对那个导演的采访,他说,Just like in life, you don’t notice the gradual changes until you look back and-holy cow-how far have they come? How far have we? Where hast he time gone, besides into the creases of our foreheads?
想起来上中学时候语文老师很爱说的一句话是,吃人嚼过的馍不香。很多时候看下来,留住的除了感觉(我喜欢/不喜欢),可能就剩零星的一两句话,比如Don教Peggy的,You are the product. You, feeling something.或者他们广告人的不传之秘,You buy it to recapture the feeling of being loved that you know when your dad bought you one for mowing the lawn。别人买你的东西,不是因为产品本身如何,是他们找到了自己想要的感觉。
