1大约在五年前读到威廉.詹姆士（WilliamJames）的教育著作TalkstoTeachersonPsychology，非常钦佩其对人类意识和认知这些极为复杂的过程的深刻理解。后来在书店见到詹姆士的另一本名著TheVarietiesofReligiousExperience(以下简称为Varieties),正好宗教也是我感兴趣的话题，于是毫不犹豫地买下来。但是一读之下并没有抓住我的注意力，于是这书就在书架上高高的地方被供起来。前些时候，[阅读全文]

摘自前言：这本书原打算名为“天堂之路”，后来我改为“墓碑”。“墓碑”有四重意思，一是为在1959年饿死的父亲立墓碑；二是为3600万饿死的中国人立墓碑；第三，为造成大饥荒的制度立下一个墓碑；第四，在写这本书写到一半时，北京宣武医院在为我体检中发现有“病变”（甲胎蛋白呈阳性），于是我加快了写作的速度，下决心把这本书写成，也算是为自己立一个墓[阅读全文]
