请教：男娃， SAT 1600，Reading&Writing 800, Math 800. 娃喜欢新闻，外交；父母想让学商、金

替亲戚家孩子请教：男娃， 12年级。SAT 1600，Reading&Writing 800, Math 800。GPA 不知道具体是多少，只知道是学校的前1，2名。
男娃2018年南外高中交流项目来美密苏里一高中，后来被美高中留下到现在。娃开朗活泼，但没有任何比赛大奖，也没有体育强项。今夏在西北大学夏令营，有两个教授喜欢，给写了两份有力的推荐信。
男娃喜欢从事新闻工作或成为外交官；男娃父母希望他学商或学金融（男娃也不抗拒）。
本人没有任何的经验，只是每天在紫檀潜水。:-)
请教：男娃应该申请什么样的学校？ 外交新闻类的和商科金融类的各有哪些学校有可能？
