But I heard that, since I didn't pay the fine before the court date, I would have to pay a lot more (e.g., about $450) after the court appearance no matter I win the case or not. So maybe hiring a lawyer would not cost a lot more in this case....I am just not so sure about this and that's why I am asking for advice from here. How complicated it is....Any further thoughts?
