急问: 保险被停

我的保险在ALLSTATE, 三月份它没有收到我的支票,就没有任何通知的被停止. 直到现在被MVA通告要罚款才知道己有4个月的Gap. 现ALLSTATE不让补这4个月的保险. 我已在Geico买了保险,但也只能从今天起. 求问1. 怎样才能避免罚款? 2. 怎样告ALLSTATE? 另劝大家千万不要买ALLSTATE的保险,非常不专业的服务,而且随便涨价.
