"An upgraded Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system is standard on all Boxsters. PSM uses a number of other acronyms such as ABS, ASC (Anti-Spin Control), EDC (Engine Drag Control) and ABD (Automatic Brake Differential) to help the driver to keep the car on the intended path. PSM takes effect later when the car is going less than 50 mph, providing a bit more latitude for the driver on slower curves. PSM can be deactivated via a dashboard switch; however, it re-engages when the driver applies the brakes."
